HIMSS
Well, it's time to pack an go. The show is about to start. I'm of course referring to HIMSS in New Orleans! (just in case you did not read the tile of this post ;-)
I'm speaking at MS-HUG on Sunday morning, then working primarily at the Microsoft booth while juggling press briefings, customer meetings and the occasional HIMSS party!
Microsoft will have a great presence this year, aside from hosting the MS-HUG TechForum in partnership with HIMSS, Steve Ballmer is keynoting on Monday (!!), we will have some interesting announcements and news and a huge pavilion full of partners showcasing great solutions.
Can't say more about the news ;-) You'll have to check back here on Monday.
I also hope to blog more about the event during the week.
If you want to reach me I'll be:
- Presenting on the Connected Health Framework on Sunday from 9:15 to 10:00am at the MS-HUG TechForum
- Attending the Steve Ballmer keynote on Monday from 8:00 to 9:30am
- Attending the IHE IT Infrastructure meeting in room #297 to update the rest of the group on the new Web Services transactions for IHE XDS
The rest of the time I'll be around the Microsoft booth, so come down there and say hi!
Update: well, it was not that easy getting into New Orleans after all. Flight got canceled out of Dallas and we had a 9 hours drive to get here. Not cool.
