Soma on Nullable
Soma has a good post on a late change we made to Nullable<T> for Whidbey, aka VS 2005 and .NET Framework 2.0. This change is a great example of the importance of customer feedback to our development process. Without a doubt, this change would not have happened without the valuable customer input we received on the issue.
Late-breaking changes like this are a big stress on the team, both because of the risk involved and the extra work that it takes to make such changes happen. Thanks to the community for the feedback, and thanks to the team for delivering in such a high-quality way. I look forward to seeing the positive feedback regarding this change in the August Community Technology Preview (CTP), which will be released within a week.
