Hello World

Hello everyone.

I took the red pill recently and joined Microsoft as a PM on Visual Studio for Devices a couple of weeks back. We're the folks who let you build apps for the Smartphone,PocketPC,etc. This also means I'll get to play with some of the coolest gadgets around :-)

Some of you may have been following my blog at dotnetjunkies.com/weblog/sriram. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by me moving to a new blog location. Truth of the matter is - comment spam, technical problems made me look for a new blog home and blogs.msdn.com seemed the logical place.

Expect to see longer (and hopefully better posts) in the future.

    Okay, first question, does VS4Devices generate stuff that runs on SymbianOS or only Windows?

    Just curious :)

    Sorry Swaroop - VSD lets you work with WinCE based devices alone :-)

    Congrats !!! BTW earlier I had read in 2003 you were doing your B.TECH. When did you graduate and what was your previous company/ role.

    Harish - I will be graduating in a few weeks (waiting for my results). This is my first job
