Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates - skills
Azure ARM Templates are how resources are deployed. Get them at aka.ms/AzureStack/Templates. Read Template Deployment, to understand about what JSON templates are and how they are used in Azure and Azure Stack. To take your learning to the next level with some free training, I'd recommend these resources below to eventually become an ARM Template Ninja!

Azure Infrastructure 70-533
New Exams!!...This is currently no indication that 70-533 is expiring. However, there will be a trend towards more "Role" based exams, and this is the beginning of that trend.
- Exam AZ 100- Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Deployment (beta)
- Candidates for this exam are Azure Administrators who manage cloud services that span storage, security, networking, and compute cloud capabilities. Candidates have a deep understanding of each service across the full IT lifecycle, and take requests for infrastructure services, applications, and environments. They make recommendations on services to use for optimal performance and scale, as well as provision, size, monitor, and adjust resources as appropriate.
- Candidates for this exam should have proficiency in using PowerShell and the Command Line Interface. Candidates should have a basic familiarity or knowledge of Azure Portal, ARM templates, operating systems, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage structures, and networking.
- Exam AZ 101 - Microsoft Azure Integration and Security (beta)
- Candidates for this exam are Azure Administrators who manage cloud services that span storage, security, networking, and compute cloud capabilities. I know this is old news and sorry for the very delayed response. The 70-535 deck, which now replaces 70-534 is on this site. Hopefully by now you've updated and passed the exam. I'll give a hopeful congrats in arrears!

Thanks for this - wonderful resource! Any tips for updated Exam 70-535 Azure Architecture? I know about 70% of the exam content is the same and using the exam objectives and Azure documentation centre is still a good strategy. I'm okay with the exams constantly being updated as Azure evolves, but I'm a little disappointed that the study resources (online training, instructor training etc.) lags by months even though you can't register for taking the older exams.- Anonymous

Unfortunately, my update cycles are tied to the delivery of my sessions at conferences. I think I may be doing a 70-533 refresh this summer, as at the last convention we refreshed 70-534 with 70-535 which is now on the site.
