Windows 7 Projector Settings Windows + P

Recently I was asked to automate the Projector settings display in Windows 7.

  1. User Connects the Epson(Any) Projector in USB.
  2. Press Windows Key + P.
  3. Choose Extend.

End User Computing or End user Computing team will receive calls for this simple steps. So they decided to create a batch file for the same. Once user connects the machine to projector they need to double click the file to extend the display.

Solution:

C:\Windows\System32\DisplaySwitch.exe /Extend
