We are writing this about subjected as we could not proper answer for this while doing search so we have collected below information and publishing with required info. As difference between manage.windowsazure.comis the current production Azure Portal while portal.azure.com is the preview portal which will eventually replace the production portal.
Azure Management Portal
Management porta lwas released in year 2012 and it allows you to provision instances of services, infrastructure or apps instantly. It displays all your applications and services deployed on Azure and also allows you to manage them.
Azure Portal
Azure Preview portal came out in 2014 and its build for responsive layout so that it can be used on tablets and phones. The latest Azure Preview portal is designed for DevOps which provide a visual dashboard to monitor your services and applications.
There are a few characteristics of the new Azure Management Portal that I find are incredibly cool.
Customization
The new portal can be completely customized. You can change the size of the tiles, you can pin graphs and views from deeper views in the portal (called blades) onto the dashboard. we customized my dashboard, as you can see below, to monitor the performance of my site as well as what my spend looks like when I log in.
Cost Control and Monitoring
So far we have no idea how much we spend each month on all my stuff in Azure... we just know that my entire Azure spend is consistently under a certain level by a good margin so we just assume all is good.
