Windows 10 on Hyper-V: Step-By-Step Installation

Introduction:
Before start we will review the basic concepts about the Windows 10, there are many new features that came with this version of Operating system.
First we start from Software and Hardware requirement to install Window Server 2016.
System Requirements and Installation:
Review system requirements
Windows 10 technical preview has these requirements:
Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster
RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for (32-bit) or 2 GB for (64-bit)
Free hard disk space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS or 20 GB for 64-bit OS
Graphics card: Microsoft DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM driver
A Microsoft account and Internet access
Download OS from below Link:

Steps
Open Hyper V Manager, click new and select create New Virtual Machine from the right corner same as below.

It will Open new wizard called New Virtual Machine wizard, see the description and click on next bottom

On the next page specify Name and Location, here we can give the name of machine and we can select store the virtual machine in different location, in our case we are assigning only name and clicking on next.

The next page will be for assigning Memory for current machine which we are going to deploy. And will click next

This page will ask about Configure Networking, here we will select as Not Connected for time being we can change this later on also.

Now the most important thing is about HDD assigning for system installation, Here we need to create a virtual hard disk and location see below how we have configured

Now on Installation Options, we need to select installation media how we are going to install windows 10 system, in our case we are selecting .ISO file, To do so for select same as below

On summary page, we will verify all assigned information and we will click finish.

Once all done we will be back to Hyper V Manager page and we will select start by right click on VM machine to start installation the same.

Click on VM and connect to follow further step, now installation stage will start here. Click on next after selecting required information

It will show install now page, select install now if we are doing fresh installation, then setup will start

Once setup screen will disappear, Enter the Product key to activate windows will appear, in our case we are skipping for now

Once we will skip the product key, it will ask to select the operating system which you want to install, Here we are selecting windows 10 Pro and click on next button

Select License Terms and click on next

As we are doing fresh installation, we will select custom install windows only (advance)

Once we will select the above, it will ask to installation, so we will create new disk same as below and we will click on next.

It will create new HDD partition and will create auto system reserved partition. Here we will select drive and click on next to start installation of Windows 10 Pro.

Once installed it will ask for Product key, we will skip for now and click on next

Now time to create an account on this PC, so will assign PC Username and Password with hits and click on next.
