Windows: Remote Desktop Commandline

Step 1: Get to a command prompt.

Step 2: Run as Administrator.

The following sections list available commands.

Command: MSTSC

For Help: Enter " mstsc /? " at a command prompt.

• Syntax: Windows XP

• Syntax: Windows Vista

             

 

Changes to MSTSC - Win7

 

• Windows 7 now allows you to clone your client-side configuration to your Remote Desktop Layout using the added [/multimon] parameter.

• Also some changes to help text, eg 'Migrates older' is now 'Migrates legacy'.

• Syntax: Windows 7
