Office 365: How To Add A Shared Mailbox To An Android Device With Stock Applications
CONSIDERATIONS BEFORE THE SIMULATION
The shared mailbox can be connected to the device without adding the "main" mailbox.
To allow the shared mailbox, connected in IMAP to the device, to send the emails, the Office365 SMTP protocol will be used. The valid account for sending will be one of the accounts with full access and "send as" of the organization.
Mail folders and subfolders will be automatically synchronized between Office365 and Android, both those already present or those added after the simulation, the calendar and contacts will not be synchronized.
In this simulation, we have a mailbox in an Office365 E3 plan, a shared mailbox and an Android device.
The purpose of this simulation is to add the mailbox to the devices with the "MAIL" application already present in Android (stock).
