DataLakeFileSystemClient.CreateIfNotExists Method

Definition

The CreateIfNotExistsAsync(DataLakeFileSystemCreateOptions, CancellationToken) operation creates a new file system under the specified account. If the file system with the same name already exists, the operation fails.

Optional parameters.

cancellationToken
CancellationToken

Optional CancellationToken to propagate notifications that the operation should be cancelled.

Returns

If the container does not already exist, a Response<T> describing the newly created container. If the container already exists, null.

Remarks

A RequestFailedException will be thrown if a failure occurs.
