Represents the method that will handle the TimerElapsed event.
public delegate void TimerElapsedEventHandler(System::Object ^ sender, TimerElapsedEventArgs ^ e);
public delegate void TimerElapsedEventHandler(object sender, TimerElapsedEventArgs e);
type TimerElapsedEventHandler = delegate of obj * TimerElapsedEventArgs -> unit
Public Delegate Sub TimerElapsedEventHandler(sender As Object, e As TimerElapsedEventArgs)
Parameters
- sender
- Object
The source of the event. When this event is raised by the SystemEvents class, this object is always null
.
A TimerElapsedEventArgs that contains the event data.
Remarks
When you create a TimerElapsedEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event-handling method, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event-handling method is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event-handler delegates, see Handling and Raising Events.
