Creates a WebRequest for the specified uri.

Parameters

uri: Uri

The Uri to use when creating the WebRequest.

WebRequest

The WebRequest for the specified URI.

Exceptions

InvalidOperationException

The uri parameter is null.

Remarks

This method can be overridden to customize the WebRequest before the XML Web service request is made. For example, you could add a custom header to the request.
