Feature details
In pages of Finance and Operations apps, combo boxes and look-up controls both provide drop-down lists that allow users to pick a valid value. To date, the user interaction between these controls was different. This feature adjusts the interaction pattern for combo boxes so that it aligns with look-up controls and results in a consistent interaction experience.
Specifically, when a user starts typing in a combo box field, the drop-down list will filter the results based on what the user has typed. If the combo box is blank, or if the user hasn’t edited the existing value, the full list of available options is shown when the drop-down arrow is selected.
