Business value
With this update to the preview of the Virtual Tables for Microsoft Dataverse solution, it is possible to create relations between virtual and native tables. For example, say that you have the native Microsoft Dataverse table Account and a virtual table SalesOrders, and you want to create a relation from Account to SalesOrders. Leveraging the relation, SalesOrders from Business Central virtual tables can then be shown on Account forms.

Additional functionality will be available for the virtual table preview solution for Dynamics 365 Business Central. Functionality includes adding relations between native and virtual tables and pagination on data from virtual tables.
