Deploying the Web Server Certificate to Network Load Balanced Site Systems

적용 대상: System Center Configuration Manager 2007, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R2, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 R3, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP1, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 SP2

Network load balancing (NLB) management points and NLB software update points in a Configuration Manager 2007 native mode site require public key infrastructure (PKI) Web server certificates to authenticate the servers to clients and secure data using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

The process for deploying a Web server certificate for NLB management points and NLB software update points is identical to deploying Web server certificates for site system servers with the following addition:

  • A new Web server certificate must be created for the network load balancing cluster server, and it must be deployed in the same way as the other Web server certificates:

    • The Web server certificate must be installed on the network load balancing cluster server.

    • The default Web site on the network load balancing cluster server must be configured to use the Web server certificate.
