Select and move images and hotspots

Use the Selection tool (or press V) to select and move images and hotspots. When you select an image or a hotspot on the artboard, a bounding box appears around it:

To select images and hotspots

• In the Compose workspace, click the image or hotspot that you want to select. To select multiple images and hotspots, do one of the following:

  • Hold down CTRL and click the images and hotspots that you want to select. A bounding box will appear around the selected images and hotspots.

  • Drag your pointer to create a bounding box around the images and hotspots that you want to select.

  • To select all the images and hotspots in your composition, on the Edit menu, click Select All, or press CTRL+A.

  Note

  To clear the selection of all the images and hotspots in your composition, on the Edit menu, click Select None, or press CTRL+SHIFT+A.

To move images and hotspots

1. In the Compose workspace, select the images and hotspots that you want to move.

   If you select multiple images and hotspots, a bounding box will appear around them.

2. Drag any image or hotspot that's inside the bounding box to move the entire bounding box. You can use the gridlines that appear as you drag the bounding box near other images and hotspots to help you position it.

   You can also move any selected images and hotspots by nudging them with the arrow keys.

   Note

   If an image or a hotspot appears to be very small in the view you are using, a pushpin icon appears to mark its place. You can move a selected image or hotspot by dragging its pushpin instead of dragging the image or hotspot itself.
