local.writeText method

Writes the specified text to the specified file.

Syntax

var promise = WinJS.Application.local.writeText(fileName, text);

Parameters

• fileName
  Type: String

  The name of the file.

• text
  Type: string

  The content to be written to the file.

Return value

Type: Promise

A promise that completes with a value that is the number of characters written.
