Target Device Connectivity Options: Kernel Service Map (Compact 2013)

You can select services for kernel download and kernel transport for a target device, and you can configure debugger settings.
- Target Device
The target device. Select from the list the device you want to configure.
- Kernel Download
The service that you want to use to download OS images to the device. Select a service from the list.
- Settings
Opens a dialog box where you can modify settings for the download service. For more information, see Target Device Connectivity Options: Kernel Download Settings.
- Kernel Transport
The service that you want to use to establish kernel-level connections between Platform Builder and the device.
- Settings
Opens a dialog box where you can modify settings for the transport service. For more information, see Target Device Connectivity Options: Kernel Transport Settings.
- Kernel Debugger
Enables or disables hardware debugging. This functionality is available only when the active OS design contains debugging functionality.
- Settings
Opens a dialog box where you can modify settings for the debugger.
- Apply
Apply your changes without closing the dialog box.
- Close
Close the dialog box without applying your changes.
