transitionType Attribute

This topic documents a feature of HTML+TIME 2.0, which is obsolete as of Windows Internet Explorer 9.

Sets or gets the type of Microsoft DirectMusic transition to use between segments.

Syntax

HTML <ELEMENT TRANSITIONTYPE= ... >

Possible Values

EndAndIntro Play an end transition from the previously playing primary segment, and then play an introduction transition from this segment.
Break Play a break transition from the previously playing primary segment.
End Play an end transition from the previously playing primary segment.
Fill Play a fill transition from the previously playing primary segment.
Intro Play an introduction transition from this segment.
None Start the segment without playing a transition.
Regular Play a transition from the regular pattern of the previously playing primary segment.

Remarks

On machines with Microsoft DirectX version 6.1, transitions (such as endings and introductions) are played only if another primary segment is currently playing, and that segment contains a chord track. This is corrected in DirectX version 7.0 and later.
