LogType Metabase Property
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 with SP1
The LogType property indicates whether logging to the IIS log files is enabled. IIS log files are stored in systemroot\system32\Logfiles\. This property is read-write.
If LogType is set to 0, then logging is disabled. If LogType is set to 1, then logging is enabled. To disable logging for child nodes under a parent node for whom LogType is set to 1, set the DontLog property to TRUE on the child nodes.
ASP and ODBC errors do not get logged to the IIS log files.
