SmtpSSLCertHostnameValidation Metabase Property
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 with SP1
Certificates have a "common name" that matches the name of the computer that owns it. The SmtpSSLCertHostnameValidation property verifies that the "common name" of a certificate matches the name of the remote computer that sent the certificate.
