ValidationSummary.FocusControlsOnClick Property

Gets or sets a value that indicates whether focus is set on the input control when an error message is clicked.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if focus is set on the input control when an error message is clicked; otherwise, false. The default is true.

Remarks

Dependency property identifier field: FocusControlsOnClickProperty

By default, when an error message is selected in the ValidationSummary, it attempts to set focus on the control where the error originated. You can disable this behavior by setting the FocusControlsOnClick property to false.
