다음 예제에서는 AVI 파일에 사용할 이미지 데이터를 압축합니다. 압축기가 VIDCF_CRUNCH 또는 VIDCF_TEMPORAL 플래그를 지원하지 않지만 VIDCF_QUALITY 지원한다고 가정합니다. 이 예제에서는 ICCompressBegin 매크로, ICCompress 함수 및 ICCompressEnd 매크로를 사용합니다.
