SQL-DMO Reference

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

SQL Server Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) is a collection of objects that encapsulate Microsoft SQL Server database and replication management. SQL-DMO lets you program applications that manage and administer SQL Server. SQL-DMO Reference contains detailed information about objects, collections, properties, methods, events, constants, and sample programs.

SQL-DMO has been superseded by SQL Server Management Objects (SMO).
