IMFCaptureSource::GetCaptureDeviceActivate method (mfcaptureengine.h)

Gets the current capture device's IMFActivate object pointer.

Syntax

HRESULT GetCaptureDeviceActivate(
  [in]  MF_CAPTURE_ENGINE_DEVICE_TYPE mfCaptureEngineDeviceType,
  [out] IMFActivate                   **ppActivate
);

Parameters

[in] mfCaptureEngineDeviceType

The capture engine device type.

[out] ppActivate

Receives the pointer to a IMFActivate that represents a device.

Return value

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
