IBlockingLock::Lock method (objidl.h)

Requests a lock on a shared resource.

Syntax

HRESULT Lock(
  [in] DWORD dwTimeout
);

Parameters

[in] dwTimeout

The time interval after which the attempted lock operation fails.

Return value

This method can return the standard return values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, E_FAIL, and S_OK.
