Edit_GetPasswordChar macro (windowsx.h)

Gets the password character for an edit or rich edit control. You can use this macro or send the EM_GETPASSWORDCHAR message explicitly.

Syntax

TCHAR Edit_GetPasswordChar(
   HWND hwndCtl
);

Parameters

hwndCtl

Type: HWND

A handle to the control.

Return value

Type: TCHAR

The password character.
