Inventory On-hand mobile app
The Inventory On-hand mobile app is now available for managing inventory in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. This app can check on-hand stock, item availability, and batch details across legal entities and locations, replacing the old Inventory on-hand mobile workspace.
You can search for product inventory by entering a product ID or name and filter results by site, warehouse, location, batch, and product dimensions. You can also filter by inventory status and quantity range. Users can prioritize searches by specifying regular sites and locations and switch between legal entities to check inventory across organizations.
A Dataverse environment must be integrated with your Supply Chain Management environment as the mobile app uses Dataverse virtual tables that are connected to Supply Chain Management. Follow the steps in Virtual entities overview to set up Dataverse in your environment.
Install the mobile app in Dataverse
You must install the Inventory On-hand mobile app in your Dataverse environment to enable users to access it when they sign in by using the Power Apps mobile app. The installation process also sets up the required user roles and other dependencies in Dataverse.
Follow these steps to install the Inventory On-hand mobile app in Dataverse.
Sign in to Power Platform admin center.
On the left navigation pane, select Resources > Dynamics 365 apps.
Search for and select the app named Dynamics 365 Inventory On-hand Mobile Application.
On the top toolbar, select Install.
Select the environment where you want to install the app, review the packages that will be installed, and select the I agree to the terms of service checkbox.
Select Install.
Install and open the Inventory On-hand mobile app
To install and use the Inventory On-hand mobile app, follow the instructions in Install the Power Apps mobile app. Sign into the Power Apps mobile app by using the same account you use to sign into Supply Chain Management. Select Inventory on-hand mobile app to open the mobile app. You can set the legal entity by selecting the settings. You can also specify a default site and warehouse.
