Remarks

The ListView control raises the ListView.PagePropertiesChanging event whenever the ListView.SetPageProperties method is called. This occurs when a button in a DataPager control that is associated with the ListView control is clicked, and a new ListView.StartRowIndex or ListView.MaximumRows value is specified by the DataPager control. This enables you to provide a custom routine whenever this event occurs, such as clearing the SelectedIndex or EditIndex properties of the ListView control.

A PagePropertiesChangingEventArgs object is passed to the event handler. This object enables you to determine the index of the first item in the page that was selected by the user. You can also determine the maximum number of items to display on each page.

For more information about how to handle events, see Handling and Raising Events.

For a list of initial property values for an instance of the PagePropertiesChangingEventArgs class, see the PagePropertiesChangingEventArgs constructor.
