What are current limitations of copilot template for store operations? How can I minimize them?

Copilot template for store operations has these limitations:

  • It's built on GPT-3.5 models in Azure OpenAI. The underlying technologies are trained on wide range of sources and some answers might not seem perfect. It’s important to test it with internal users and provide feedback.

  • It undergoes three step process of launch- private preview, public preview, and General Availability. Since copilot template for store operations is in public preview, we recommend users to use the solution in test environments only.

  • You can minimize the impact of these limitations in two ways:

    • Use the enable/disable button for Q&A or task management features.

    • Assign the Retail AI assistant user role to a limited set of users to get access to copilot template for store operations features. Users without this role can't access copilot template for store operations features.

Can I use voice and chat with the copilot template for store operations? Can I use voice during preview and if not, when can we test it?

Yes, you can use voice and chat with copilot template for store operations. Microsoft relies on the mobile device operations system for voice support and users need to allow permissions in their mobile. You must test the voice prompts in a user acceptance testing (UAT) environment before using them in production, because the mobile phone OS drives voice capability..
