Status Property (BackupDevice)

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The Status property returns component execution or integrity state information.

Remarks

For the BackupDevice object, the Status property is maintained for compatibility with earlier versions of SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO).
