IVMNetworkAdapter::AttachToVirtualNetwork method

Attaches the network interface to the specified virtual network.

Syntax

HRESULT AttachToVirtualNetwork(
  [in] IVMVirtualNetwork *virtualNetwork
);

Parameters

virtualNetwork [in]

The virtual network to which this virtual NIC will be connected. See IVMVirtualNetwork.

Return value

This method can return one of these values.

 The operation was successful.
E_POINTER

 The parameter is NULL.
E_INVALIDARG
0x80000003
 The parameter does not contain a valid virtual network.
HRESULT_FROM_WIN32(ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED)

 Access was denied to the requested virtual network.

 The virtual machine is invalid or no longer exists.
