IVMVirtualPC::FindVirtualNetwork method

[Windows Virtual PC is no longer available for use as of Windows 8. Instead, use the Hyper-V WMI provider (V2).]

Retrieves a virtual network object that matches the requested name.

Syntax

HRESULT FindVirtualNetwork(
  [in]          BSTR              virtualNetworkName,
  [out, retval] IVMVirtualNetwork **virtualNetwork
);

virtualNetworkName [in]: The name of the virtual network to find.
virtualNetwork [out, retval]: A pointer to a new IVMVirtualNetwork object that represents this virtual network.

This method can return one of these values.

Return code/value	Description
S_OK 0	The operation was successful.
S_FALSE 1	The specified virtual network could not be found.
E_POINTER 0x80004003	The virtualNetwork parameter is NULL or the virtual network cannot be found.
E_INVALIDARG 0x80000003	The virtualNetworkName parameter is not valid or is an empty string.
HRESULT_FROM_WIN32(ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND) 0x80070002	The virtual network file could not be found.
DISP_E_EXCEPTION 0x80020009	An unexpected error has occurred.
VM_E_HARDWARE_VIRTUALIZATION_DISABLED 0xA0040951	The processor does not support Hardware Accelerated Virtualization (HAV) extensions.

Virtual network names are case-insensitive, for example, "MyNetwork" and "mynetwork" refer to the same virtual network.
