IVMVirtualPC::GetFloppyDiskFiles method

[Windows Virtual PC is no longer available for use as of Windows 8. Instead, use the Hyper-V WMI provider (V2).]

Retrieves an array of known virtual floppy disk files.

Syntax

HRESULT GetFloppyDiskFiles(
  [in]          VARIANT inAdditionalSearchPaths,
  [out, retval] VARIANT *outFloppyDiskFileList
);

Parameters

inAdditionalSearchPaths [in]

These paths will be searched along with the paths set in the IVMVirtualPC::SearchPaths property.

outFloppyDiskFileList [out, retval]

An array of virtual floppy disk files found in the specified search paths.

Return value

This method can return one of these values.

Return code/value	Description
S_OK 0	The operation was successful.
E_POINTER 0x80004003	The outFloppyDiskFileList parameter is NULL.
E_INVALIDARG 0x80000003	The inAdditionalSearchPaths parameter is not an array of strings.
DISP_E_EXCEPTION 0x80020009	An unexpected error has occurred.
VM_E_HARDWARE_VIRTUALIZATION_DISABLED 0xA0040951	The processor does not support Hardware Accelerated Virtualization (HAV) extensions.

Remarks

The search paths used to retrieve the array of files will include those set previously by IVMVirtualPC::SearchPaths in addition to those specified by the inAdditionalSearchPaths parameter and the installer location for the integration components module.
