Gets or sets the property to use as the actual value for the items in a ListControl.

A String that represents the name of an object property that is contained in the collection specified by the DataSource property. The default is an empty string ("").

This property should not be set for the DirListBox control; it is provided only because the DirListBox control inherits from ListBox.
