Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the GetFile(String) method.

Public Function GetFile (name As String) As FileStream

Parameters

name: String

The name of the specified file. Do not include the path to the file.

Returns

FileStream

A FileStream for the specified file, or null if the file is not found.

Remarks

This method is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code, and should not be called from managed code.

The GetFile method gets a FileStream for the specified file in the file table of the manifest of this assembly.
