Converts a DbType value to an equivalent TypeCode value.

Parameters

dbType: DbType

A DbType value to convert to an equivalent TypeCode value.

Returns

TypeCode

A TypeCode value that is equivalent to the specified DbType value.

Remarks

This method returns an Object instance if no equivalent for the DbType value is found. Database types without equivalent types include Guid, Binary, and DateTimeOffset.
