Forza Horizon crashes during game loading (Error: 0xc0000005)

Hello all,

As the title says I have the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Edition and since the last game update, it's crashes during the game loading.

The game opens and when the first Forza screen appears to click "Login" the game locks up and closes for no apparent reason.

I have done all the steps I found on forums, websites, etc. I have formatted the computer twice, with two clean installations of Forza, and I always have the same problem.

I leave the error log taken from the event viewer:

I really need help especially from someone at Microsoft as I don't know what else to do to get into the game!

    Of course not, software can always be fixed, I gave you the fixes that normally resolve this. It's just taking too long.

    Let's zero in more on the error causing the crash:

    Several are reporting the System File Checker works. I know you've just reinstalled but perhaps an app, Update, settings change or mod is causing the issue to continue. Run System File Checker and DISM from Step 10 in this checklist:

    I have already been in contact with Forza support and it seems that errors like 0xc0000005 are Microsoft's problem and not the problem of Forza itself, so how do I resolve this situation now?

    Basically are 100€ thrown in the garbage isn't it?!

    Greg,

    I just did a clean install of Windows 10 (was using Windows 11 previously). For this I used the Media Creation Tool that you indicated in the previous comment.

    After downloading the game, updating all the necessary drivers, the game crashes with the exact same error (0xc0000005)!

    It is obvious that something went wrong with my account, just today I installed Forza Horizon 4 and entered normally, I played without problem.

    You have to see what happened with my account regarding Forza Horizon 5 please!!!

    I understand you said you reinstalled but I have no idea the quality of those installs, whether they are Resets which used the same corrupt onboard files that caused the problem, or wiped the drive to do a true clean install.

    Are you sure you tried every step in every link which covers Game Pass games crashing upon launch?

    Have you tried reinstalling the game and leaving out the last Update that caused this?
