    Hi,

    R. Cord here, Independent Expert. Hope you are doing well.

    Check your internet connection: Make sure your internet connection is stable and strong enough to support the installation process. A weak or intermittent connection can cause installation issues.

    Run the launcher as an administrator: Right-click on the Minecraft launcher icon and select "Run as administrator." This can help ensure that the installation process has the necessary permissions to complete successfully.

    Clear the launcher cache: Sometimes, the launcher cache can get corrupted and cause installation issues. To clear the cache, open the launcher settings, click on "Installations," and then click on "Three dots" next to the problematic version and select "Delete." Then, click on "Settings" at the top of the launcher, select "Advanced," and click on "Delete." This will delete the launcher cache and hopefully resolve any installation issues.

    Disable any antivirus software temporarily: Some antivirus software may interfere with the installation process, so try disabling it temporarily while you install Minecraft. Just make sure to re-enable it after the installation is complete.

    Additional troubleshooting:

    Please try this step by step:

    Uninstall minecraft launcher and sign out from your Microsoft account on both Xbox app and Microsoft Store

    Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

    Click Check for Updates;

    Click the Download and Install Now option, if available (Install optional updates as well)

    Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services and update everything too.

    Then do this:

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then reset

    Then do the same for the Xbox app:

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then reset

    Finally do this:

    Step 1: Open the Run window by pressing Windows + R key.

    Step 2: Input WSReset.exe in the Run window and click OK.
