Returns an equivalent interest rate for the growth of an investment.
Syntax
RRI(<nper>, <pv>, <fv>)
Parameters

nper | The number of periods for the investment. |
pv | The present value of the investment. |
fv | The future value of the investment. |
Return Value
The equivalent interest rate.
Remarks
RRI returns the interest rate given $\text{nper}$ (the number of periods), $\text{pv}$ (present value), and $\text{fv}$ (future value), calculated by using the following equation:
$$\bigg( \frac{\text{fv}}{\text{pv}} \bigg)^{(\frac{1}{\text{}nper})} - 1$$
An error is returned if:
- nper ≤ 0.
This function is not supported for use in DirectQuery mode when used in calculated columns or row-level security (RLS) rules.
