Definition

Provides COM objects with version-independent access to the Equals(Object) method.

Parameters

obj
Object

The Object to compare with the current Object.

Returns

true if the specified Object is equal to the current Object; otherwise, false.

Remarks

This method is for access to managed classes from unmanaged code and should not be called from managed code.

The Object.Equals method determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object.
