How to Remove Users from a CSS Security Group
This topic provides steps for removing users from a Commerce Server Staging (CSS) security group. You remove users from a group to deny them permissions for performing staging related tasks in CSS. For example, you might remove the user account of an employee who has changed positions in an organization.
To remove users from a CSS security group
Log on to the CSS server for which the CSS user or service account is defined and is a member. Log on with an account that is a member of the local system administrators group.
Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Computer Management.
In Computer Management, expand System Tools, expand Local Users and Groups, and then click Groups.
In the right pane, click the CSS security group from which you want to remove the CSS account. For example, CSS Administrators, CSS Operators, or CSS_SG.
In the <CSS Group>Properties dialog box, in the Members box, click the user account that you want to remove, and then click Remove.
In the <CSS Group>Properties dialog box, click OK.
