Post entity messages and methods

A post represents an activity feed post. The posts are divided into auto posts and manual (user) posts.
An auto post is created as a result of an event, such as a creation of an opportunity or an invoice. An example of a manual post is a user adding or updating information on the account’s record wall.
Information about whether the post was created by a user (manual post) or generated by the system (auto post) is contained in the Source attribute. If not specified, it is set to manual post. To specify a regarding record, use the Post.RegardingObjectId attribute.
The early bound class for this entity is Post. To view the entity metadata for your organization, install the Metadata Browser solution described in Browse the metadata for your organization. You can also view the metadata for an uncustomized organization in the Excel file called EntityMetadata.xlsx included in the top-level folder of the SDK download.
The following table describes the messages for this entity, which you use with the IOrganizationService.Execute method.

Note
The post entity is enabled for the bulk delete operation by default. You can schedule a bulk delete job to delete old or unnecessary manual and auto posts.
