Subtype Element (RDL)

Indicates the subtype of the chart.

Syntax

<Chart>
    ...
    <Subtype>...</Subtype>
    ...
</Chart>

Element Characteristics

Data type and length	String

Cardinality	0-1: Optional element that can occur once or not at all.

Remarks

The Subtype element must contain a string appropriate to the chart type. Valid subtypes and the default subtype for each type are as follows.

Column	Plain (Default), Stacked, PercentStacked
Bar	Plain (Default), Stacked, PercentStacked
Line	Plain (Default), Smooth
Pie	Plain (Default), Exploded
Scatter	Plain (Default), Line, SmoothLine
Bubble	Plain (Default)
Area	Plain (Default), Stacked, PercentStacked
Doughnut	Plain (Default), Exploded
Stock	HighLowClose (Default), OpenHighLowClose, Candlestick
