How to: Create a Column/Line Chart (Report Designer)

To create a column/line chart

1. Add a column chart with data. For information about adding a chart with data, see How to: Add, Move, or Delete a Chart (Report Designer) and How to: Add Data to a Chart (Report Designer).

2. In Layout view, right-click the chart and then click Properties.

3. Click the Data tab.

4. In Values, select the value series to turn into a line and then click Edit.

5. In Edit Chart Values, click the Appearance tab.

6. Select Plot data as line.

7. Click OK.
