Начиная с платформа .NET Framework 2.0 рекомендуется создавать XmlReader экземпляры с помощью XmlReader.Create метода , чтобы воспользоваться преимуществами новых функций.

Так как XmlTextReader выполняет буферизованный Read, он должен иметь возможность возвращать остаток неиспользуемого буфера, чтобы данные не были потеряны. Это позволяет протоколам (например, многокомпонентному MIME) упаковывать XML в тот же поток, что и другие компоненты.

После вызова этого метода EOF присваивается значение true.
