Having trouble getting the Media Center 2005 upgrade?

If you've got a Media Center PC and you want to upgrade to Media Center 2005 you need to contact the manufacturer of the PC to get the upgrade.  HP have a page set up to order already here.  I've heard that it's not as easy as it might be and I confess I haven't tried it yet.  I do have an HP Media Center (873N) at home, but I don't exactly need the upgrade ;-)  That said I'll give it a go to see what the process is like.

If you're not having much luck with getting an upgrade let us know by going to this page.  You'll find a link to a form that you can fill in.  I can't promise anything but this will let us collect the data and hopefully make things better.

  I have a Shuttle system (ST62K) that I purchased from Micro-center(KS6250). No mention from either company regarding an update.

  So far, Sony is not planning to offer the upgrade. This is an outrage. I will not buy any Sony products until they do offer it.

  I ='m a sony viao owner and i just bought it and now 2005 is being put out and they arnt offering the upgrade what n outrage, spend big $$ then not even given the latest softwatr and not even planing on doing it i think they should or microsoft should help peep for a small fee to get to the latest product or even have it as a software package in with a 2 tunner video card
