before running the .ini file, the ADV_SSMS feature should be added along with the prepopulated features. This feature is important in order to configure  advanced features such as Database mirroring and log shipping through the GUI. If not added, the configuration page of the databse mirroring will not be displayed and will revert to the DB properties window.
