App-V 5.1 Hotfix 1 – verspätet sich

Hallo zusammen,

aktuell gibt es einige Problemchen die wir gerne mit dem Hotfix 1 beheben wollen darunter das IE Crash Thema , wie auch das Profile Thema. Dieses ist es allerdings was noch etwas Zeit benötigt.

Hotfixe zu erstellen ist oft eine Herausforderung und darum möchten wir versuchen soviele Probleme wie möglich in einem Hotfix beheben und auch sicherstellen dass die Änderungen keine neuen Löcher reisen.

Darum brauchen wir hier noch etwas Zeit.Wir versuchen den Fix bis spätestens mitte November freigeben zu können. Darin wird u.a. ein Fix für das IE Crash Problem sein, aber leider kein Fix für die Profil Probleme.

    which IE crash are you referring to?  I have an issue where IE crashes randomly at startup in our XenApp environment ever since we deployed App-v  5.1.  This is on a Windows 2008r2 server.

    Bei uns ist es auch so, dass seit dem Update auf 5.1 der IE beim Öffnen teilweise einfach crasht: "Internet Explorer reagiert nicht mehr." Das Verhalten wie hier beschrieben blogs.msdn.com/.../10643047.aspx, dass sich der IE bei mehreren Registern verabschiedet, hatte ich bisher nicht. Was ich mehr sehe sind AppV5 Pakete, welche sich nicht installieren lassen. Fehlermeldung: 0x87d0128f Grüsse, Fabio

    The Hotfix will be there soon - running in final test phases right now. I blog about it once it ready to load :)

    Oke thanks, when i update it i dont see it change in programs and features to change to build 5.1.99 This is only visable in the registry.. is this true?

    In Programs and Features you need to change the view so that you see installed Hotfixes as well - if you do this you see it here as well but the Version in registry is what counts.
