В следующем примере значения перечисления ConsoleColor сохраняются в массиве и сохраняются текущие значения BackgroundColor переменных и ForegroundColor свойств. Операция получения для приложения под управлением Windows, в котором консоль не существует, возвращается Gray. Системы Unix не предоставляют общий механизм получения текущих цветов консоли.
